Intense purple in colour with intense aromas of blackberries and cherries. The palate is round and rich with notes of ripe berry fruit, sweet black cherries a touch of liquorice and a distinctive spicy character from 12 months ageing in wooden casks. Chewy tannins support the palate which finishes long and fruity.

All our products are packed in Cheese Cuisine boxes (unless you have ordered a giftbox or added a hamper to your order) with filling (bubble wrap where needed) and gel ice packs when required, to preserve the quality of fresh products.
Your cheese will arrive wrapped in speciality cheese paper and we recommend you refrigerate it as soon as it arrives. We recommend using your cheese within five days of purchase, however, many cheeses will last far longer. Casa Vinicola Botter spa was founded as a retailer in 1928 in the Veneto region for sales of wines in casks and demi-johns to restaurants and small retailers. In the fifties, the family expanded their horizons to selling wines across Central Europe and beyond. The family of Casa Vinicola Botter spa held control and the company is now run by the third generation and from their roots in Veneto they now have a portfolio of wines produced in some of Italy’s finest regions.
