This Fromage Fort is a delightful twist on cheese on toast, make it even better by using up your leftover cheese!
225g leftover Friday Night Cheeseboard cheese
1 garlic clove
125ml white wine
Black pepper
Your choice of bread, we used sourdough
Put the cheese pieces in the bowl of a food processor and add 1 garlic clove, the white wine, and a big grinding of black pepper.
Process for 30 seconds or so, until the mixture, is creamy but not too soft, and then pack it into small containers if you aren't using it straight away.
The Fromage Fort is ready to use now, either served cold or spread on bread and grilling for a few minutes which will brown the cheese and make it wonderfully fragrant.
