Produced from two premium vineyards, Wairau River Reserve Black Label Pinot Noir provides dark fruits entwined with savoury richness and toasty French oak. A medium bodied Pinot Noir, the complexity of the nose continues through the palate revealing generous fruit weight and mocha nuances delivered with a refined texture and a persistent finish. Perfect with nutty cheese and crumbly cheese.
Upon completion of your order, you will be asked to select a delivery date. We will always work to deliver to you on your date chosen but sometimes delays may occur. We will contact you if a change to the delivery date is required. At check-out, your delivery charge will be calculated.
All our products are packed in Cheese Cuisine boxes (unless you have ordered a giftbox or added a hamper to your order) with filling (bubble wrap where needed) and gel ice packs when required, to preserve the quality of fresh products.
Your cheese will arrive wrapped in speciality cheese paper and we recommend you refrigerate it as soon as it arrives. We recommend using your cheese within five days of purchase, however, many cheeses will last far longer. Wherever possible, we use environmentally friendly packaging, including recycled and compostable material. We are not big on paper waste; all the information on our products can be found on our website. Wairau River wines take their name from the river that runs through the heart of the Marlborough wine region. (Wairau is Maori for ‘many waters’). The Rose family were pioneers in planting vines in the 1970’s and after originally selling the grapes to other wineries they launched their own label in the early 1990’s. Today their foresight has created a very successful company which remains family owned and run. Wairau River is one of the largest independent wine estates in Marlborough, and the range of elegant wines is characteristically expressive of its Marlborough roots.
